VENICE IN 1 DAY
A day trip to Venice is barely enough to admire the most crowded and the most famous sights alas !!!
Whether you arrive by train at Santa Lucia station and you arrive at Piazzale Roma bus should you take the vaporetto No. 2, much faster than the 1 to get to San Marco in 30 minutes. about. Once on the most famous square in Venice, visiting the Basilica and the Doge's Palace will be a priority.
After a last look at St. Mark, try to direct you to the outside of the square next to the Correr Museum (opposite the Doge's Palace), and when you are in Calle Larga dell'Ascensione, take towards the Campo San Moise and then Calle Larga XXII Marzo until you reach Santa Maria Zobenigo. This is where the traghetto on genuine gondolas at a price of only € 0.4 per person, you will get on the other side of the Grand Canal. After a short walk, you will come close to the Accademia Bridge, and right side you will find the Accademia Gallery, the largest collection of existing Venetian art and it's worth visiting.
After a brief stop in Dorsoduro, where you can enjoy the many cafes for lunch (note the price!) Head over to the Campo San Rocco to visit the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, once instead of caring for the sick during plagues, and the Frari Church, the largest church in the city. To get there, if your feet are already sore, you can take the vaporetto number 1 stop San Toma. Otherwise you can go on foot, strolling among the narrow streets and bridges that connect the streets, immersing yourself in the essence of Venetian beauty.
The last step of your visit may be the Rialto Bridge, arriving through the Campo San Polo.
If you are not too tired at the end of the evening,
30 to 10 h, a romantic and effective opportunity is to cross the Grand Canal by taking line 1 that goes from Piazzale Roma to Piazza San Marco and Lido. At that time there was more Kyrielles tourists with their biggest luggage and they do not even manage to get on board. Sit in front, outdoors and enjoy the channel with the illuminated palace ... You might wait for midnight Piazza San Marco that without the mass of people is just fantastic ...
